Between 2002 and 2004 Adrian worked in a portfolio and risk management software company in France, and before that spent 11 years as a bond trader for Japanese securities companies in London and Tokyo.

Ajmal Samuel (施杰浩) is a Hong Kong based Businessman and a Hong Kong national-level athlete. He is the Founding Chairman of OCTO3 Group Holdings Limited, a Hong Kong headquartered financial technology and infrastructure provider that specialises in Payments and Clearing House Systems. Prior to founding OCTO3, Mr. Samuel spent six years as the CEO and President of Cityline (HK) Ltd. Under his leadership, Cityline became one of the top ticketing companies in Hong Kong. In the 15 years prior to joining Cityline, Mr. Samuel worked in different internet technology companies and start-ups in Hong Kong that had applications/implications globally. Mr. Samuel is a Founding Member of the Association for Universal Accessibility Hong Kong and volunteers his time as a motivational speaker for numerous Non-Governmental Organisations, youth bodies and Corporations and Companies.

Mr. Alan Cheung is a Director of the Advanced Digital Systems Group in ASTRI. He received his B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University, New York and his M.S. Degree of Electrical Engineering in Stanford University, California. He has served in Sun Microsystems (Oracle) and ATI Technologies (AMD) before coming back to Hong Kong.

After joining ASTRI, he has been actively contributing in hardware development of various domains including multimedia, communications and secured storage processor. He led the team in finishing multiple ASIC projects with leading companies such as HiSilicon (Huawei).

He also actively works on financial technology (Fintech) development. He currently focuses on Cryptocurrency and Blockchain related research and applications. Commissioned by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority in 2016, he led the ASTRI team to publish the first whitepaper on Distributed Ledger Technology in Hong Kong. He currently collaborates with banks and other financial institutions in developing blockchain applications such as Digital Identity Management, E-KYC and Insurance claims. He also explores blockchain implementations in logistics and supply chain management with other companies.

Andrew Economos is a thirty-year veteran money manager having managed funds in traditional, hedge fund, private equity and principal trading spaces. From 2007-2014, Andrew was a Managing Director at JP Morgan working as Head of Principal Trading, Solutions, and Sovereign & Institutional Strategy. From 2014-2016, Andrew was Head of Strategic Solutions for Capital International. Leading up to his post at JP Morgan, from 1986-1994, Andrew was a Senior PM and Partner at Scudder, Stevens & Clark, Inc managing closed-end and open-end mutual funds. From 1994-1997, Andrew managed a long/short equity hedge fund for E/T Partners. Prior to joining Wall Street, Andrew was a PhD candidate in International Business at the Pennsylvania State University. Andrew has lived in Hong Kong for 30 years and is also the Non-Executive Director of an international fashion and jewellery brand.

Anna Wallace is the Head of Innovate at the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). She was appointed in July 2017 and had previously been the Senior Manager of the FCA's Innovation Hub. Anna has worked at the FCA and its predecessor, the Financial Services Authority (FSA) since 2012. Prior to leading the FCA's approach to innovation, Anna worked in Policy where, amongst other things, she led the FCA's approach to pay day lending and smarter communications. Anna’s previous roles at the FSA include Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive and Director of Authorisations. Before joining the FSA, Anna worked at the Scottish Government for seven years. In that time, she held various roles in public policy spanning public health, elections and transport.
